Lando Live at Slinky 13 on July 28, 2012

Lando has been a part of the JAM On It soundscape since the Summer of 2001 when we did Slinky II in Frazier Park.

We were glad to have him back in full force for Slinky 13 this year. He took to the decks at 5pm and played for about an hour and a half.

Here is his live set for you to enjoy. Burn it, share it, email it, enjoy it.

Have fun and thank you.

With too many influences to count, Lando has a style that’s very much his own. Whether it be funky, jazzy, Latin, disco, techy or tribal, he always tries to incorporate it all in his sets. Variety is the spice of life & he uses that motto to the fullest when it comes to djing. With some many musical elements involved in what we call house, it’s would be a crime not too.

Lando Began spinning records in 1996 mostly at mainstream/all-age clubs where Chicago hard house and radio hip-hop was the norm. After getting more into house music in 1998 and taking time to refine his style, in 2001 we met Lando through a demo he sent out that caught our ear. We have had him on almost all of our lineups since Slinky 2. He’s been playing all around Los Angeles since and played alongside djs like  Q-burns Abstract Message, Eddie Amador, Dj Colette, David Garcia, Gene Farris, Jesse Saunders, the VinylTribe, BodyRockDJs and more.
